Position: Food Service Representative (events for late winter and spring 2006Employment Type: Temporary
Location: Columbia, SC
Salary: Varies
Description and Skills Required: Eligible Event Personnel must:
- Be dynamic and engaging
- Have great communication skills
- Be creative and personable to bring the event to “life”
- Actively interact with customers
- Be responsible and follow detailed instructions
- Have reliable transportation and ability to stand 4-6 hours
This position offers great pay and flexible, part-time weekend hours. Set your own schedule and make great money. Seeking employees with flexible schedules during late winter and early spring 2006.
Experience: Previous food service experience preferred but will train individuals with the right attitude.
Other competencies: Food safety, wine service, alcohol service. Requires the ability to apply basic math skills when setting up room with food and beverage and cashier.

Banquet/Food Service
Position: Banquet Server CaptainsEmployment Type: Temporary/Part-Time
Location: Columbia, SC
Salary: Varies
Description and Skills Required: Present and serve food and beverages to guests according to the event order. This position will provide service to a variety of events: continental breakfast, coffee service, lunch, dinner, receptions, and cash food events. Once proficiency is shown staff may be scheduled for bartender and/or captain shifts. Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen.
Must work side by side with facilities, audiovisual, and kitchen staff to serve a successful event. Frequent contact with Director of Conference Services, Conference Service Managers, Entertainment and Special Events. Due to the nature of this department a good working relationship must be maintained with all levels of management.
