Description and Skills Required: Eligible Event Personnel must:

• Be creative and personable to bring the event to “life”
• Actively interact with customers
• Be responsible and follow detailed instructions
• Have reliable transportation and ability to stand 4-6 hours

Experience: Previous food service experience required.

Banquet/Food Service

Description and Skills Required: Present and serve food and beverages to guests according to the event order. This position will provide service to a variety of events: continental breakfast, coffee service, lunch, dinner, receptions, and cash food events. Once proficiency is shown staff may be scheduled for bartender and/or captain shifts. Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen.

Must work side by side with facilities, audiovisual, and kitchen staff to serve a successful event. Frequent contact with Director of Conference Services, Conference Service Managers, Entertainment and Special Events. Due to the nature of this department a good working relationship must be maintained with all levels of management.

Experience: Previous food service experience preferred but will train individuals with the right attitude.
